You may already have seen this photo, but I enjoyed it so much I thought I'd share. National Geographic took it in India, as monsoon waters rose.
The monsoon has arrived in New Mexico, too. The storms seem to have been just missing my house, with not much more than occasional drizzles. It's thoroughly clouded over this morning, but I'm thinking I need to water. Maybe today will be the big storm. But we had enough rain a couple of weeks ago to provide this odd couple.
