After that orbital adjustment, the flight seems to be going well. No more being said about a quick landing in Australia.
This is a big deal. China, all by itself, has launched a space capsule carrying two men into orbit. The conventional Cold War subtext is that they have intercontinental ballistic missiles. We knew that, of course, but this is a show for the Chinese people and the world that they have the military and research capabilities of a major world power.
